Started quilting when pregnant with first child, 1961. Interested in all aspects of sewing from making garments to home decor; especially heirloom sewing and quilting. Prefer traditionally pieced quilts to any other kind. Have 7 kids (from 47 to 32) including 3 step kids. 6 grandkids, 3 step-grands and 2 more on the way. One husband, no pets. Hoping to live long enough to use up all my stash and have empty project drawers. It has been suggested that I may have ADD, because I like to have so many irons in the fire at one time, so I can flit from project to project. Also play piano and guitar, and am writing a Celiac Cookbook so that I don't have to lug 3 cookbooks when I travel. Transplanted here from Ontario 17 years ago and try to keep busy enough so i don't pine for my family or balsam too. Kids are scattered from Hamilton, ON to Nashville, TN, from Oromocto, NB to Nanaimo, BC. Dream location? South Carolina.
