Here's the block layout for my Carolina Crossroads mystery quilt. Now to roll it up in its batting and sew the rows together. Hope to get it on the Inspira quilt frame tomorrow. My stars don't "pop" like they should but it just goes to show you, "Even though you can't always SEE the stars, trust that they really are up there, doing what stars do....."
and yes those ARE wine bottles at the side .......and I didn't even have to open one during the making of this quilt

Interesting to see your blog, you can visit mine which has been in progress for a couple of years now, it is my alter ego -- Miss Snips Notebook http://jswb.blogspot.com
About "maiden names" they still are not really our own names, they are our fathers -- though in my case, since my father was 'born out of wedlock' he had his mothers name --- MERRY --- so if I had kept that name, it would have been more maternal. Oh and I think if you want to you don't HAVE to take your husbands name, since sometime in the 70's, so if you want to legally change it back you can do so at any time -- I kinda like BARKER though, so I am sticking with it for now...
wow I really like your colours -it looks beautiful,'cheers Vickie

Doxies on My Quilt
I have just been watching folks progression on their Carolina Crossroads quilts while I try to get some of my UFOs finished. Yours is beautiful, and I can see your stars more than I can in some of them. Maybe I can get my ducks in a row enough to do the next one, or maybe this one - just later.
I'll be adding your blog to my list of blogs to check - good luck with it.

The quilt looks great!
There seems to be a lot of worry by everyone about seeing (or not) the stars, but I don't think they necessarily need to be the focus.
Congrats on your CC quilt AND the blog:).
The top is gorgeous and the blog can become a good friend.
Many hugs,
Phyl
